Define "fake" when every single recognizable sunglass brand is owned by the same monopoly, pumped out of the same shitty factories in China for $1.50, then upcharged hundreds of dollars to brand obsessed chumps?

The same shit materials they use in the "real" products.
None of those BS brands make their own sunglasses, they contract with Luxottica, or they're just a fake shell brand wholly owned by Luxottica to continue perpetrating the farce of a competitive market, to brand an ODM design with minimal tweaks, find a stupid gimmick material to incorporate like Titanium or carbon fiber, use the absolute cheapest manufacturing process and materials sourcing possible, then pump them out by the thousands using child labor.
Don't for one second think that in overpaying for "Ray-Bans" or "Dolce & Cabbana", that a single one of their employees ever touched your glasses.
The entire industry is a corrupt, monopoly owned garbage fire. You may as well buy the $18 crap unbranded generic Chinese knockoffs with the unpronouncable names that flood Amazon.

For what it's worth, I have purchased 6 pairs of Serengeti's from eyedictive and never had any issues or concerns with quality. Do I actually believe most name-brand sunglasses are really worth their retail $300+ price? No, but I've been happy many times over with $30-50 pairs from this site.

In for 1, not that I need them…
