Same price at Costco. Certainly a great pan. We use this and the 8" size regularly. https://www.costco.com/tramontina...04291.html

If you have the discipline to treat these well (silicone tools only— no wood, plastic, metal) and clean with a rag and then store protected, they are miraculous-stick.
I don't know why you'd want them to stick so miraculously.Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

I've had a 14" for a long time. It's pretty good for a thin aluminum NS pan. The coating is certainly more durable than others.

I've moved to carbon steel and cast iron for 99% of my cooking though... so I'll probably retire the Tramontina.
FYI, the deal here is for a thicker Aluminum pan. Not thin.

Buy stainless steel, use the water bead trick, oil pan, crack eggs/do whatever. There is your non-stick pan professional pan. Fixed it for you.

How often do people replace this specific pan, if used for regular household cooking? Maybe I'm a bit paranoid but I try to switch these out every 9-12 months just because of fear of the coating. Curious as to what others do.
Don't play the replace every year game if it is a concern of yours, switch to non-toxic cookware like many of us have. Stainless steel, carbon steel, cast iron, enameled cast iron will last a life time.

Unfortunately, these don't work with Induction cooktops.

And really, everybody should've already moved to Induction :-)
I agree, yet the movement to that is really slow. If you go to a big box warehouse very few of them are on display. It is great to have the speed of gas without having to unleash benzine into the air. Plus it is safer to use. The downside is the tech is not all the way there as far as reliability. To replace a burner is around 1K so it is recommended to buy the entry level Samsung for 1K or less.

Is this Teflon? Teflon is the devil. Otherwise I'm in for one if this pan won't kill you.

From this video my conclusion was Granite was the best
Interestingly it is the cheapest most even distribution of heat and extremely resistant to scratch and also stainless steel

I got the 12" for 28 bucks used like new

The only pan you ever need, is 3 cast iron pan (8",10",12") with lids (if you can afford) and you r all set. May be a dutch oven from lodge (60bucks) and they will be your buddies to cook even when u r 80 years old. Not to mention cast iron is all the chemicals free(pfe, ptet & the others). I had this pan for a while, but also changed all the cookware to classic cast iron. Really nothing can beat it.
