Yes. You'd just need a solar charge controller that supports charging/maintaining 12V lead acid batteries. As one example, here's a reputable unit from a reputable manufacturer: https://www.amazon.com/Victron-Sm...B075NQQRPD
Very nice!

though honestly the free ship on freight is the bigger deal. get 10 big boi panels and save the $400-500 in freight
Yep, 100%.

Do you need to pull a permit to install on a house roof
Quote from roaky :
Depends where you live but generally no. You do need permits for hooking into your house power though, and an electrician inspection. If you're just charging batteries or an RV or something with them then no permits.
Depends on where you live.. but what doesn't depend on where you live is what your home insurance provider would do (deny your claim) if they happened to fail & catch your house on fire.

So this video said only good for AGM, GEL and Flooded batteries type and the panel already have the charger controller. I dont have any of those batteries I only have solar power bank. And those power bank are either lithium or lifepo4. So I guess this wouldnt work for me ....

Would this work with a Jackery power bank? Do I just need to convert the leads to a DC jack or do I need a solar charge controller in-between? When I look at Jackery compatible solar panels on Amazon, it's got a MC4 connector but it doesn't look like it has any additional electronics in-between.

Check what kind of voltage range your Jackery takes for DC solar input. You might need two or more of these to feed into some systems, but it'll probably work with 1 or 2 panels.

These will output about 19V, so they're good for 12V systems with just 1 panel. You'd want 2 for charging 24V systems.

The you tube review linked in another comment shows there's an included 12v pwm controller.

Sorry, newbie, but could I use this to keep a couple of jet skis batteries charged up?
Honestly if there's no parasitic drain you're probably better off getting one or two 10-20w solar trickle chargers with built in battery controllers: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07RXKN9MF . Just hook it up and forget it. That's what I do and it works perfectly for every 12v lead acid battery I have (including heavy equipment). I also have a large solar array with all the bells and whistles but sometimes ease of use wins out.

As for the deal it's pretty good for new, if you're willing to go used and you need more power Santan sometimes has free shipping, or discounted freight. Some panels are $26 for 255W for example. https://www.santansolar.com/produ...ar-panels/

I have a bunch of mppts that I got when I bought small 25w panels to experiment with. they came in a $50 bundle and the controller was included. they definitely work, but iv'e only used them to do very little things like fun garden lights.

is there any reason why I should spend the $ for the controllers like the one you linked? those are like $100.

genuinely want to know, esp if there is any kind of risk associated with the cheap ones.

How would this connect to a ecoflow. Does it have mc4 connectors built in?
