I guess the silver lining with fast food no longer being affordable is the fact that maybe Americans will eat it less often. Hopefully many fast food places will close.

Eight dollars bucks? $5.69 here in Ohio, $6.69 for a double, $7.69 for a triple. The most absurd fastfood pricing I've seen locally is $5.50 for a large fry at McDonald's.

I saw a news story the other day about McDonald's pricing. I guess they had pretty much bragged at one point that they could charge whatever they want, but now they're having to back down a little because they got carried away and sales have been impacted. The key now is to use app deals for fastfood everywhere, and not just pay menu prices, if you care about the cost. Otherwise, yeah, it's gotten pretty insane in some cases.

Agreed but unfortunately app deals are getting worse and worse now. The app glory days are quickly ending.

I wish they'd bring back the bogo deal on their premium sandwiches. I missed it last time as it was only 1 day.

The best deal anywhere is still 3 for $10.99 at chilis. Got the app and you can add free chips and salsa or sometimes a free app, kids meal or dessert.

Most absurd I've seen is $3.99 for a large Coke at Burger King.
