Well, that kills the deal for me. Thanks anyway.

Where I live, snow tires are mandatory. I like Blizzak, but have bought other brands at times. For summer, I will use any tread, but when there is snow and ice, I won't use anything but good winter tires. And 4WD.

Location is a thing. When I drived in California (in the '80s), any tire was okay. No snow, no ice, no problem. But moving to a different driving area? Tires are now important.

Seems like anything I look at is on backorder. Anyone have experience with their Sentury tires? Its the only thing available.

For p205/55r16 tires a full set of goodyear reliant purchased from walmart and installed at Discount tire is still $100+ cheaper than a set of goodyear assurance direct from discount installed. This is after the rebates at Discount Tire.

Point is this sale is nothing special.

eBay is offering free local installation at Local installers thru 3/17. I just priced out the same sized tire...A set of 4 Pirellis, Kumho, Hankooks or Goodyear tires will run under $400 for popular models shipped and installed.

pass... 'discount tires' should be renamed to just 'tires'.... jacking up the prices on everything then offering a small % of that off ain't no discount...

They charge you upfront for that 'Free Roatations'...

I added some tires to my cart and the bill includes the following line item:
Installation & Life of Tire Maintenance = $88

That ain't free... at least not my definition of free...

They will rotate tires for free even if you don't buy them there- my local one does anyway. Most shops charge for rotation service in addition to the high prices and installation fees. Every retail shop around the country gets you one way or another in the end.
