Matter of opinion I guess? I like the looks. Some of the colors are meh, but I have a few pairs that I wear as my regular shoe. I pick the colors I like.

I feel the same way about Hey Dudes…think they are hideous looking, but like I am not posting on Hey Dude sales about how confused I am about people buying them. I just don't buy them.

I've worn Hokas the past 2-3 years and was thinking of getting another, but the bulky outsoles of the new Hokas discouraged me. I decided on the ON cloud 5 and they are comfortable. I just can't go back to Nikes or Adidas...I'm a bit on a heavy set and I find Hokas or ONs more comfortable than any other brands. I was able to walk from MGM grand to Allegiant stadium with Hokas or ONs without feeling any discomforts or even the need to make multiple stops. I can't do that with either Nike or Adidas.

Yes, I usually wear size 7 Hokas so I got size 7 ONs and it's a bit snug. My next ONs purchase will be 7 1/2.

Human feet were not designed to "walk on air/clouds." The healthiest thing for human feet is to actually walk barefoot. Of course, shoes are necessary, but the softer and "cloudier" they are, the weaker they will make your feet and you have a much higher chance of developing something called plantar fasciitis down the line. Of course, once these foot problems develop, people think they need even softer shoes, which temporarily relieves the pain but actually makes the feet even weaker and exacerbates the problem, until no shoe is ever soft enough to relieve the pain.

Just a heads up. Ons Customer Service is atrocious! Worst customer service I have had to deal with in my entire life. Their shoes are great, but please purchase them from an authorized retailer! If you have any issues with the order they will give you the run around and not stand behind their products. Trust Pilot had thousands of examples of this if you care to look.

It's really trendy with the young yuppies that have children at my daughters school... they all wear them. I get the compliments from the teachers for mine and my daughters footwear choices

The failure of the minimal footwear trend a few years back goes against your statement. Made things worse for many who tried it
