I don't think anyone can understand how long I've been waiting for $1.04 savings on jarred gravy.
The price of all those ingredients and the hassle of putting it together and all the dirty dishes?
No. I'll spend $1.43!
You had me at cheap and easy. Then lost me with everything after that didn't sound cheap or easy.

Thickening a bullion cube doesn't strike me as "made from scratch". I suppose we are all free to interpret this as we see fit.

The problem with ordering this stuff is always the ruin of your other items as it shatters.

Most cooks will have those ingredients available. Any fat (lard) will do and takes minutes. Besides, I've had too many 'accidents' during shipping, bottles break.
