OK final update:

Got the MacBook yesterday. Came in Apple box with all four sides with sealed taping.

Inside mint condition (might as well be new) MacBook Air. Purchase date showed oct 23, 2023 but called Apple customer service and they updated the date to Feb 17 2024 purchase date. Bought AppleCare!

So all in all PC connection is legit. Keep watching their clearance deals. I took pictures of the box and unboxing but can't find a way to upload here. You can pm me and I can maybe send them that way.
