I've previously purchased the same model as this, Wurkkos WK03, but with 6500k SST40 emitter and in black when it was on sale for $11 without a battery. The light has been okay. I'm sort of a snob for nice warmer tint and high CRI, and the WK03 I bought being cooler than I wanted to do avoid ugly green tint SST40 has in 5000k, I just haven't used the light that much.

It's very compact, fits easily on my bike helmet with only two bands to use it for night mountain biking. I've used it together with Wurkkos TS25 on the bike, and my Convoy S2+ on the helmet, and the total constant output I'm getting in cooler weather is north of 2000 lumens with this setup, almost an overkill but allows for amazing visibility in the forest.

One of the best things about thr 519a emitters is the ability to dedome them. What this means is you pry off a small layer of silicone on top of the LED emitter, and your color will change from 5000k to around 4300-4500k. The throw and total candela increases, while the total lumens decreases by about 5-10%. I've done this on all three of my flashlights with 519a emitters, and I'm loving the more rosy looking beams. It takes only 2-10 minutes depending on your experience and how easy getting to the emitter is. There is a slight risk of damaging the emitter so do it at your own risk.

With all that said, this is genuinely amazing seeming light and probably the best price you'll find a light of this quality in quite some time.

Just ordered. How long does shipping usually take? Looks like they are located out of China?

I've got a couple of the black WK03 with the 5000K SST40, and it's noticeably whiter light than an LH351D in a Wurkkos FC11. Might be due to normal variation, might be that later versions of the SST40 are whiter.

The 519 version is supposed to be great, but be aware that it's not as bright as the SST40 and not as efficient (lower run time).

I still think any version of the WK03 is a genuine bargain. There are better lights, but I'm not aware of any near this price point.

Ha, makes me sort of wish I ordered the 5000k SST40 instead of the 6500k since it sounds like you won the tint lottery. I think the closest bargain would be Convoy S2+ which is just $16 with shipping ($18 for colored variants), but it lacks USB c charging and doesn't have magnetic tailcap. There are more emitter choices including 2700k, 3000k, 3500k, 4000k, 4500k (I have this one), and 5000k. USB charging is a significant upgrade, and also means that you don't need a dedicated charger. I will add that the S2+ does have a nice bike light mode with a gentle strobe laid on top of a constant high output, I use this quite a bit. Yet, at this price point, I would choose WK03 any day of the week since its cheaper and has more features.

For the 3 orders I've placed with them, it's taken about 2 weeks for each order. One came in less than 10 days which was surprising but budget for around 10-20 days.

Got two for gifts but also decided to get the FC13 with SFT 40 emitter. Curious if other members have the FC13 and their general impression of it. Thx

I have the TS25 that uses the same UI, Anduril 2.0 but has quad 519a emitters instead, and is slightly larger with a 21700 battery. If you have no experience with Anduril, it may seem like a lot and I recommend that you ensure you get your FC13 to simple mode to keep things... simple. To do so, when the light is off, click the power button 10 times in rapid succession and after the 10th click, a dim flash will appear. To be able to put it to advanced mode from simple mode, you need to click 9 times, and the 10th click should be a short hold. Anduril is awesome but there is a steep learning curve. If you ever get confused by what the light is doing, just unscrew the back and reset the light by having the battery connection open for a second. I've put the light in tactical mode by accident a few times and had to do this. Be sure to screw the back to ensure its tight. I thought my light initially was DOA because it wouldn't power on, but somehow I had forgotten to check that the tailcap was tight.

I don't need another flashlight, but the yellow color is actually appealing.

I want a high visibility color to find it while I'm digging through my bag.

What is an "EDC" light. How is this different from a flashlight?
