Looks like it also works with the Monoprice 1000. (All are $15 off of the discounted price on the manufacturer's website). The 1000 is kinda nice because it is a LiFePO4 battery.

The 1000 has LFP battery, the smaller ones do not. Wall charging only operates at 1A, so, 8-10hrs to charge the 1000, 3-4hrs to charge the 300, 6-7hrs to charge the 600.

Others charge much faster, but this is cheap. The slow charging means you can't really use it as a UPS

For the Monoprice 1000 Lithium Portable Power Station is there a simple guide that can tell us how long this can run let's say a refrigerator or a freezer or a TV and how many hours ?
Thank you

You need to look up the power draw of your appliance. If it's 3A then it'll run for about 3hrs

Hi, thanks for alerting us to this.
Question for anybody who can answer: what will happen to the LiFePO4 unit if it's constantly plugged into a solar panel and often at 100% charge? How quickly would it deteriorate?

Anyone know if the handles collapse or fold? I cant stand things with unnecessary protrusions. Makes it a pain to pack and store.

From the prior discussions it looks like the battery itself doesn't deteriorate, but the BMS (Battery Management System) software can go out of calibration and so it's estimate of the charge/discharge status will drift and end up totally off. Needs to be charged/discharged fully periodically to avoid this.
This is what is preventing me from buying some and putting them as backups to UPSes, or replace UPSes (switching times is another consideration for being direct UPS replacement).

For a power outage that might happen once in a year or two, to keep to a maintenance schedule periodically like monthly is quite a headache.

I did not see additional $15 off. The discounted price of 1000w model for me is $379.99. Is there a coupon code or something?

Thanks a lot for this info. Any idea which type of power station to get to avoid this? Or specific features to look out for?

The 1000 model has a surge output of 2000W. Just FYI. I was looking to get one for a sump pump, but most sump pumps would probably go over the 2000W on initial start up

It's odd that Monoprice doesn't sell solar panels for their solar generators. The 7-8 hour charge time from an outlet kills it for me.

There was no coupon, the prices were just $15 less. Back to the regular "sale" price now.

OK, thanks. I scanned the OP for a coupon or something and thought I was going crazy.
