You will be charged $150 today and on the backend a credit for that amount will be placed on your SIM.

When you activate, the SIM uses its $150 credit to purchase 1 year of service at the discounted rate of $150.

If you fail to activate in the time frame, which is anywhere from 3-6 months, they will charge you full price (an additional $150) and add it to the SIM cards balance for when/if you ever activate it.

No matter what, you are purchasing 1 year of service and the SIM card they send will forever have 1 year of prepaid service sitting on it. Whether you activate in 1 day or 3 years it will still work, the only difference is whether you pay $150 or $300 for that SIM.
I ported out a few weeks back. It took about 2 hours. I had to call in and get the account and pin first. It took a few redirects and waits, and attempts by them to get me to stay. But this took about 30-45 mins. Then I had to call again as during thr port out process, they don't automatically approve it. It again took a few redirects and waiting and upsell and finally was able to port out.
Boost Mobile customer service is the worst. The first 2 layers of customer service cannot speak freely or answer your questions. They are only allowed to respond with a few scripted sentences. Keep asking for a manager or supervisor and pray you don't disconnect during the 45 minute wait.

Wasted so much time and energy when I bit on a Slick Deal last year and they overcharged me $180 which took 10+ calls and 2 months to get back (They initially issued it as credit to my account and I had to fight even more to get it back to my card)

You can actually port your old boost account to a new one. I've been doing that with 3 month sims. The only hassle is calling to get the pin.
how do you do that?

Can you buy a few of these or is it limited to one per new customer? I'm planning on transferring my whole family.

New customers only. How long until you can be a new customer? I used them before, about a year and half ago.
You're a "new" customer - the longest wait duration I think I've ever seen was a year, but virtually all companies are much shorter than that. Someone earlier in this thread mentioned 45 days for Boost.

Try it. If it doesn't let you, there are workarounds like using virtual cards (see privacy.com if your existing cards don't offer them), along with different email addresses.

Can I return a15 deal and buy this instead? Will boost mobile do refunds?
I spoke to an agent at 833-502-6678. He processed a return for 4 x a15.
I have to pay for shipping though.

Will the plan be at 150 with that bundle?
A15 cost 39.99, so the bundle cost $189.99.

Do you actually have to enter in your porting information?
Unless it's changed in the past few months, no. You can enter pointing information only when you're ready to port (or, if you're using this hack to avoid activation, just select the option to get a new number at that time).

Be sure to keep a close eye on your payment method. Boost has a habit of refunding things like this back to your Boost account as a credit and not to your original form of payment.

Check out the BoostMobile sub-reddit for this and countless other horror-stories about ordering stuff from Boost.

(For another great one, if you change your address with them, and then order a new phone, they will send it to your original address. Even if you changed your address years ago, and haven't lived at that address for years. They won't display the old address anywhere on the website, or anywhere during the ordering process, but that's where they will send the phone - then not refund you even if it goes missing during shipping. They claim this isn't a bug, it's by design)

By clicking 'Buy Now' or 'Pay with PayPal', you agree to pay the amount due today. Your service will not begin until your SIM is activated. If you are getting a new phone number, your SIM will be automatically activated 2-3 days after order. If you do not activate your phone on the Boost Mobile network within 30 days of purchase, you will be charged the full MSRP of the phone (less your purchase price) to the card used today or any alternative payment method. Once activated, you authorize Boost Mobile to charge your card or PayPal account to auto pay your monthly total fee plus any additional taxes and surcharges. Prices and surcharges subject to change. Cancel any time. Plan downgrades unavailable. You also agree to our Terms, Emergency and Privacy Policy. Boost Mobile may use your information to contact you about your account.

Sim will be automatically activated after 2 to 3 days if getting a new phone number. Beware if you plan on doing this but you already have service and wasn't planning on activating for a couple months

I've the account number and pin as well ready. But how can I proceed? The same normal process you do with other networks porting?
If yes, since the deal is for new customers only. So, will that still works??
Please explain

Their form doesn't accept ANY of my email addresses. "Please enter a valid email." It is valid you idiot web programmers. It looks like they're trying to cross-reference the email address to Facebook... so it appears you must have Facebook before signing up.
I used to have this problem until I figured out I was hitting space after entering my email and that was triggering the invalid response. Don't hit space after .com

Any trick to ensure at&t service? I'm not interested in T-Mobile at all.
