A couple of days ago I snagged the MSI Ventus 3X PC 4080 Super for $1,029.99.
Today it was the Gigabyte 4080 Super Gaming for $1,049.99

Both of the cards are for my less computer savvy friends - I help them build PCs.

Personally speaking, I would pay the $30 - $50 difference over FE for the better cooling but it's not a deal breaker at all.
For the 4090's, I see much less incentive to pay the $200 premium over FE.

Just waiting for the Asus one to come in stock. I know I'm paying a premium for the dumb cooler and what not, but I like the way it looks so I'm fine with that.

I think it is good and I would buy it myself, but I don't even see it as an option anywhere (sometimes you can still view the prices for open box but on this page I don't).

Make sure its actual item in the box or they won't return without a huge fight. Bestbuy doesn't have any way to test graphics card returns.

Just got this from Microcenter last night. Nice card, although I have been noticing considerably coil whine in benchmarking.

It stays cool and so far mine is overclocking above average. I can't complain unless the coil whine gets worse or is constant in games.

Just note, this goes for all 4080s but it's a huge card. Compared to a 4070 it looks 4x the size.
