My experience with the Kroger cashier:
"I have a digital payment for that item. It's not a coupon. The instructions for using this to pay for that item are here." (points at screen, reads instructions)
"We can't take coupons from the phone."
"It's not a coupon. It's a digital payment. It says to select EFT payment then scan the barcode."
"I'll have to ask if we can take a digital coupon." (leaves to ask supervisor, comes back in a minute) "No we can only accept printed coupons."

Asked her to try it anyways but she didn't set up the payment correctly per the instructions, so it didn't work. So I asked her to remove the item, paid for the rest of the purchase, then took the egg white wraps to customer service and the guy there knew exactly what to do. Easy peasy, plus KCB and other rebate makes it a $2.50 moneymaker.
