All other bullion sellers currently charge $595+ (CC price) for a 20-count of 2024 silver eagles.
So if you want silver eagles, Costco is the way to go

At least the limit is now 5 so you at least have the option of paying no tax. Such a bummer the limit was 2 when these were $519.99 each.


That all being said, it's a bummer that costco isn't the same screaming deal on silver as it is on gold. They were for a couple sales at $519.99 when spot was a similar price.

Spot, as of this comment, is $23.72. Any chart showing over $24 is wrong.

Leafs are a better deal when compared to spot, but Eagles typically sell above spot. Right now, eagles are going for $28-$32.

You can't really bring up spot price in a discussion on Eagles or Maples, meaning both will carry a premium over spot. Government mints are more trusted than XYZ rando private mint, and it shows.

There's usually more supply of Maples than Eagles compared to demand so they sell at a lower premium, and are a better deal imo. But many love Eagles so are willing to pay more.

Gold might be breaking out right now since it's over $2100 with two all time daily closes in a row. If it does break out and goes to $2500, the crazy high gold to silver ratio (90:1) is likely to go down to like 50 or 60, which puts silver at $40-50. And premiums will be sky high in that case.

This is a not trivial possibility so if you really want silver I'd buy it now.
