No. These are not a replacement for flossing.
These are mainly for those who have large "triangles" or space between their teeth due to bone loss and recession.
If you don't have large enough spaces for these, do not shove them in as you risk trauma to your gum and can cause traumatic recession (much like brushing too hard). Stick to string floss or floss picks.

Love these! And I have no gaps (very tight) in my teeth- still work great! 1100 for $9.68;
It wasn't showing a selection or the S&S. It showed a "bundle" for a price of $18+
I broke down the bundle, found 4 packs of 275 for $12 w/o the discount. Clipped the 20% coupon that appeared with this portion of the bundle and then chose S&S. Awesome!
