Recycle router? Is there an option in the app to do off and then back on after a min? If the router hung, might lost access to everything.

They sell specific devices to help power cycle routers. Same concept except it monitors internet if it's up. If it detects it's down it will cycle the router.

After setting up on 2.4ghz, I can control this from my iPhone using a 5ghz network?

Assuming you have a remotely modern wifi router situation with a coherent subnet and ip scheme youre good.

if u have an old ATT gateway + 5hz router behind a router situation it's POSSIBLY you'll run into problems but the good news is it's all resolvable even if that happens

And the device you posted from doesn't have components made in China. Or the switches/routers etc that you connect through.

This thing works better than Kasa from setup perspective. It uses Bluetooth to connect to device and then connect to WiFi vs. connect to device WiFi and then home WiFi. Very smooth set up. Apps seems straightforward and works as expected. All in all, I'll probably use Tapo line down the road. If you start out, recommend this over Kasa.

Gotta say, glad I bought 5 packs of these.

They are absolutely flawless. Downloaded Tapo & updated all the firmwares. Removed from Tapo. They work with Matter (HomeKit) so I re-added them through Apple Home and not 1 failed. NOT 1 !

So far none of the 12 I'm using have lost their connection.
