Meh. Pass.

All listings that I can find for this on various sites, including this one, seemingly intentionally leaves out a very, very important detail...

"Olympic this! Olympic that! Olympic bar!"

Standard hole size on Olympic weights is 2" - the leg extension bar on this only accepts half size 1".

So if you, like me, already have a collection of plates you were looking to put to use, you'll have to make some modifications to this bench in order to be able to use your weights...

Reviews also say the leg extension part is wobbly and won't really accept much weight...

So if you're looking for a bench press bench, this may suffice - but if you're getting it for legs, you're likely best served looking elsewhere.

Keep in mind the max capacity of 500 pounds includes the weight of the user.

Can confirm the leg extension part is total trash. Combined with the short seat, you can't get a good quad contraction with it or use barely any weight.

FYI you can fit a larger hole over a smaller post. Haha. There are also sleeves that fit over 1" posts or bars. It does seem like it's not well designed though, but the 1" post isn't the limiting factor.

This is specifically why I said "you'll have to make some modifications".

Yes, you can put 2" on the 1" post - but they're going to rattle and bounce around with your movements, sliding and messing with the balance... So.. Yeah.. Super great experience - quality.

And, as far as the sleeves are concerned - see bit about making modifications...

So... Considering all of this and when considering the build quality, I stand by the "better off looking elsewhere" sentiment...

haha
