I have never been on a cruise, and I am not sure how it works. I checked the price for 2 adults and 1 kid for a 5 night cruise, and the total was 4500. Not sure what $54/night means.

I only see 150$ drink credit when sailing out of the Northeast (Boston, NYC, Maryland). Meh

I am no expert, but each person per day has an additional fee for tips. So $18x3ppl=$54 for tips.

I was on Royal Caribbean in 2022 and it was $16 per person.

Keep in mind, cruises have sales EVERY DAY Smilie

What matters is final price. Cruise lines use special math that never adds for a normal person

I just talked to priceline sales rep, they are offering $25 credit for each room and $50 overall credit so its $150 for 2 rooms but they do charge $25 processing fee for each room. In my opinion costco travel has the best deal. No processing fee, same price and $115 costco shop card for each room.

This is really just a rebranded OBC offer agents aren't generally allowed to offer more than 10% which is what this maxs out at. Find a an agent you like that offers OBC with every sailing and you will likely do better than this deal

ugh... i literally just booked 4 rooms directly on Carnival.com and now I see that Priceline had much better rates and offers. I really didn't get anything on Carnival. Anything I can do? What should I use in the future for bookings?

So much marketing gobbledygook to wade through. Just trying to get some final quotes is a massive pain.

This isn't a bad deal. Actual cabin prices are consistent with what you could book directly. Often they'll have OBC deals but the actual cruise fare goes up.

Note though, at least for Royal Caribbean, there's no such thing as "drink credit" which isn't a bad thing. This is just onboard credit marketed for drinks. So if you don't drink, you'd still get to use it.

Drinks run between $8 (beers) to $14 (cocktails) with an 18% gratuity added on top to give you context of how far $150 would take you.

The caveat in booking through Priceline or similar travel sites is you have to go through them for any changes or questions about your reservation. The key one here is price drops. You couldn't call up Royal Caribbean if your cruise price goes down. You'd have to go through Priceline. Not necessarily a bad thing, just something to be aware of.
