S&S doesn't lock you in on the price correct? The price could change any time right?

Try to cancel the subscription after you receive it, and place another sub for next time to lock your price. You will only get the price of this time, and this time only

Correct. I have to check all of my S&S each month to see if the price jumps too much.

Also, oats gluten-free. Why state that? Is it common for oat products to contain sheet (edit: meant wheat, not sheet) gluten as well?

Assume the price cut has to do with the pesticide story?

For anyone with celiac disease or a wheat allergy, this oatmeal is not certified gluten free. They use machines to reject wheat grains, so they're not kept totally separate. Some people report having reactions to it.

My wife has celiac disease. Lots of oats are gluten free. You MUST check the label. Also just because it's gluten free doesn't mean it's celiac safe.

idk why you got thumbed down. You can get a 32oz bag of GF Rolled Oats from Bob's Red Mill for $8. Sure, might be a little more than this deal at the SS price, but Quaker seems to have some issues with their GF oatmeal. From a few complaints about reactions from people with Celiacs Disease to even more complaints about the oatmeal not being consistent in quality (both the packets and the larger bulk bags) and the brown sugar flavor just being absent.

I went to bulk bags of oats a couple years ago and GF or not, it's just a better product (instant oats are bleh, imo). Some diced apple and cinnamon powder "from scratch" is just a different experience than instant and worth the extra few minutes.

That aside, sure, the packets have the convenience factor, but you sacrifice quite a bit.
