4) proceed to checkout where you are entering your card information.
5) copy and paste link to a new window (doesn't need to be incognito) or just duplicate window.
6) go BACK to delete the item you don't want in one window, go forward to confirm checkout after deleting in the other.

WAG10 works for 10%. Not sure if there are better coupons unless you create a new account or spend over $50 - neither of which I will do

In my experience you won't earn the rewards. The estimate at the bottom is a good reference for regular shopping but if you're trying to figure out whether your combination of discounts will get you a deal it can be wrong. I believe I've googled whether you can pay with wags cash to earn more and they even stipulate that you cannot.
Probably look for the estimate wg cash at the end of checkout page. It used to work a long time back, but from a couple of months it seems they change it

It is normally very clear if you will not get the bonus if you pay with Wag points. I normally try it without and see rewards then add it and see if it is the same. Only places I have not seen it work is when it ask you to spend a $$ amount. That seems to be new money. On things that just say buy 1 item or similar, does not matter. I am still fairly new to this but what I have noticed.
