Assuming you don't care about it being Pink, Docking, and Animal Crossing, I'd imagine you could easily sell the Download code for $30 minimum ($60 regular price), so this might be your cheapest entry point on a Switch without buying used.
Alternatively, if you don't trust your kids with a OLED, or Regular Switch, this is a great option (My nephew has beat the F__ out of his, and if it were my kid, I'd never get them a regular switch as a replacement). Also, you don't have to worry about Joycons (which get pricy)
This can be played with 2 players via a 3rd party Hori Lite Dock, but again will not work on a TV so you're playing on a 5 inch screen
