other batteries don't jump start your car. I have the larger one with the air nozzles, works great in emergencies

The NOCO GB150 is an awesome jump pack. I have two and have used them many times to jump-start everything from scooters to pickup trucks, and it has never failed me or even hesitated.

+1 to your post.

Assuming a car battery of 12V, this has 44,400mWh/12V = 3,700mAh

If we assume 5V for USB charging, this has 44,400mWh/5V=8,880mAh

Is this correct?

No, and yes.
The Li-on battery is based on a 3.7-volt cell. The manufacturer calculates how many cells are put in to label the capacity: 4x 3000 mA cells to be 12,000 mA on the label. 44,4000 mWh is exactly 12,000 mah for normal Li-on battery pack labeling.
"Wh" is actually more accurate than "mah" to describe the capability...

Jump boxes are cool, but a set of quality jumper cables will last forever and never fail.
True, but the jumper packs don't require another vehicle and a stranger to jump your car or other equipment. I've used a different one to start a mini excavator and diesel generators.

I have a different halo bolt, and it jump started our expedition a couple of times without issue. I was glad we had bought one so my wife wasn't stranded.

According to my research, this one is rated 49700 mZh (milliZizzle Hours, of course) worth, how much more do you recommend?

Agreed. I'm just saying I'd suggest everyone put their money toward good cables first. Then once you've got those, if you want a jump box too, consider that a supplemental/additional option.
I guess that depends on what sort of dead battery situations you expect to find yourself in - to me that's exactly backwards. Since I bought my first jump box I've never taken the jumper cables out of the trunk once. Jump box is first, easiest, fastest, best resort, jumper cables last resort. Rarely, if ever, is there anyone around to jump from when I have a dead battery (and with several vehicles >25 years old it's not infrequent)
