Never happened with my 2s.
I like the intuitive software that allows you to easily map the different wheels and buttons to quick actions. I mapped the horizontal wheel to volume control which makes it super convenient to adjust it when watching a video without moving my hands or wrist whatsoever.

Interesting... it happens on multiple windows machines for me. I also should've notated that I have the non-mac version as well.
I just took to Reddit and saw someone say that if you use the Logi Options+ software to disable SmartShift and put the mouse in Free spin mode, that it solves it. It makes sense because SmartShift is a feature that involves fast scrolling. The problem is Free spin mode is not a good user experience at all. And ratchet mode still apparently encounters the bug. I've also noticed oddly that charging the mouse (even if the battery isn't anywhere near dead) temporarily fixes this issue for me. What a pain.
I picked up "renewed" version of the master 3s for $70 from Amazon the other day. It's still that price for both Mac and Pc versions, both colors. It seems brand new other than the packaging. I recommend it. You also get 90 days return time.
