If you're using a vpn that routes your Internet traffic abroad, that's not surprising. Especially if other factors like GPS location (if you're using a mobile device) or last known location don't quite match your IP address country. This is a major indicator for fraudulent activity, so they're likely and rightfully so suspecting fowl play.
