Pay the few extra bucks for a steam key.

All you get is a few cosmetic items. Han Solo Scoundrel look + rugged look for BD1 + Han's DL44 blaster, Luke rebel hero look + Astromech look for BD1 + Luke's lightsaber. Not worth it IMO. But hey if you like that stuff $7 ain't bad.

All EA games come to EA Play (which is part of GPU) within a year of their release. It will be a year for JS next month sometime, so it's just a matter of time.

if i didnt really enjoy the mapping of the first game how much different is the second? i really wanted to like it as I love uncharted and tomb raider but the first one was near unplayable for me

Good game, but so ridden with buggs... it will just kick you out randomly while you play.... Google it
I have at least a dozen tickets with their support and their support is useless.

It's not Steam Deck compatible and I hear many people are having issues on the PC. Go to the Steam store and read the discussions page for the game. I'd buy from Steam and refund if the game isn't running well on your machine.
