The Lite racer 2.0 more like oh.0! This is the worst looking, I'll made, uncomfortable adidas sneakers EVER... forget trying to return them. I have a pr for free if you wanna pick them up!

Majority of adidas shoes are very ugly especially with the extra heel jutting out at back. Most sneakers today ate butt ugly but adidas is the worst. The vast majority of sneakers sold are used for daily walking.

That's interesting - my experience is exactly the opposite for the Lite Racer 3.0 - I love that sneaker more than any other than I own. The mesh is extremely breathable, very roomy toe box (so not suffocating), and I usually size down. Great on my end for city walking upwards of a half an hour or more. My feet get hot and this is a great shoe that helps prevent that.
I have two backup pairs and am seriously considering going for a third here. I'm surprised it's so different between the 2.0 and the 3.0.

I ordered the Lite Racer 2.0 and can confirm - they are very uncomfortable, particularly the heel. Getting it on and off was not as easy and the piece of shoe at the top of the heel portion caused me considerable irritation (needed band aids when wore them). I did not have a good experience with these and cannot recommend them, regardless of how low the price is
Plus the last pair I ordered from Adidas they were this weird no lace design. Which I totally hated.
The pair I looked at here was $31 taxes in... Same pair $38 taxes in from Amazon
This site charges $5 for return shipping. Amazon has a bad habit of sending used stuff as new stuff.

You don't need lifting shoes. Any will work. A raised heel for squats isn't necessary but you could also just use plates underneath if you're really determined. You could use converse or take your shoes off if you really want flat for deadlifts
