Looks like the Spikes are a similar price. As someone who lives in the PNW where our snow is wet and often gets compacted into ice, the spike traction is my preferred type rather than the coils in the linked product. I've run many miles in my fairly steep hilly neighborhood in this type and never had a slip.

The Yaktrax Run is also solid, although a bit more at $22.50:

Also, the microspike-type are good for hiking and a decent deal at < $30, although I wish they had the velcro strap:

While this is a good price, I've had way too many Yaxtrax break/fail on me to purchase any more. If you just need them for infrequent walks on pavement, sure. Don't depend on them for hiking.

Good catch, spikes are cheaper in my size as well
Used them on glare ice after an ice storm and they were a lifesaver, in for a backup
