Most of those signs are outdated.... Class I & 2 ebikes are allowed in most states and are considered non motorized vehicles.....don't be a snob, we need to coexist, they are all bicycles.
Not nearly as many from cars
For me, 68years old, I was ghost peddling at 14 MPH. Since most bike now use standard parts I was able to put on a 52 tooth chain ring.. 14 MPH is my comfort speed I keep it in gear 5 now with no ghost peddling.

Are the brakes mildly squeeky for anyone else? Don't know what else to call them. I drove down a huge hill this weekend and the bike made me SUPER nervous as it had issues braking well lol.
granted it was a steep long hill.

The brakes squeak indeed but they do their job

My first ebike, it took a week for it to arrive. Setting it up was straight-forward. It's huge! I'm 5'6, and I get the feeling I'm a child riding an adult bike. I had to make all the right adjustments to the seat and handle. For $519, I'd say I'm pleased; I don't have anything else to compare it to.

The battery on this bike is great. Rode across San Francisco and still had half battery left.

Changing P6 from 20 to 22 only shows the bike going faster but if you run a speedometer app on your phone there is no change in speed. I do like the P11 setting at 1 for my wife. She was not excited about it accelerating that quickly.

If you're on pas 1, are you restricted to 7 mph while pedaling?

I want to be restricted on pas level on pedaling only, but want access to full throttle.

Do you know what setting allowed your bike to have access to full throttle on pas level 1?

I tried p05–000 and p05-0002 and it allowed me full access to full throttle, however, there was no restriction on pedaling. So this means when I pedal, I go all the way to 24.9 mph as well.
Found a good solution.... If your gears click that meansthey are in between gears and not fully shifted. So if you have a clicking gear its best to up shift to next gear and click the down shift button and it will put it in gear. Should stop the clicking and assist with the being in gear properly this worked for me always.

The TOBWOLF Rear Pedals work great but they tend to rotate no matter how hard you titghten them. There are threaded holes in the rear frame that you simply screw them into with included screws. Was not a fan of the ROCKBROS bike mirrors and returned them. They shook alot when riding bike making it hard to see objects. The QiXin bike handlebar is really small but that is good for my granddaughter. Just not so sure if it's the safest solution. Maybe I will add a safety belt.
Ordered the "TAGVO Bike Mirror, Bicycle Cycling Rear View Safe Mirrors, Adjustable Rotatable Handlebars Mounted Plastic Convex Mirror for Mountain Road Bikes" and will see how well they do. I like the fact you can install and remove them fairly easy when I have to fold bike up.

Can anyone give me pointers on how to keep my back brake from squeaking? So far I've tried adjusting the inside pad by turning the screw one way or the other. Either way the brake stops squeaking for a little bit, but then goes back to squeaking. I don't know if that is just because the screw is loosing back up or what. I also noticed that when I apply the back brake the disc bends some, but I do not see this bend with the front brake.

Thanks

I got the brakes working a lot better now.

1. Barely loosen the two outside 5mm screws
2. Tighten the inside 5mm screw
3. Apply brake
4. Tighten the two outside 5mm screws
5. Release brake
6. Loosen inside 5mm screw until wheel spins freely

Austin is out of stock so I got myself 2 drifters for pretty much the same price and a hyperax e-bike rack, total came out to $1200. It's a steal for what it is. Took it for a 22 miles spin today and came back home with around 40% battery left. My GF came back with around 80% left (she's 110, I'm 200, I only did light pedaling). This included some PAS 5 and a 1.6 climb up a pretty steep gravel mountain in gear 7 (later figured should've lowered the gear).

Interesting observation is it keeps accelerating downhill unless you are in PAS 0. Looks like it mistakes downhill riding for pedaling.

500w motor is plenty except of very steep hills. I tried one very steep hill at PAS 1 gear 1 and it couldn't make it throttle only. Maybe it would at PAS 5.

Also bought this rack: https://slickdeals.net/f/17473101-hyperax-volt-eco-120lbs-2-bike-hitch-mount-110-84?v=1&src=SiteSearch

Were you able to hit 28mph on your drifter?
