Wait till you get older. Growing up I wasn't good to my feet, always barefoot or wearing flip flops into my 40's, now my feet hate me. I used to always make fun of Crocs until a doctor told me to try a pair, holy crap, game changer. I wear them mostly around the house, for plantar fasciitis they are a miracle.

I hear stories of people getting injured all the time due to wearing improper footwear.

Plantar fasciitis is one reason. They are so awesome to wear. I suffered until i started wearing these.

just curious, do you mean crocs has good support on the feet?

I think so. Better than any shoe insert I've Tried. I have high arches and these solved my plantar fasciitis problem.

But not to be a fanboy. The crocs logo is for the kids. I have the Bistros, but $50 for foam shoes keeps me in 6+ yo shoes

$25 was a normal price for Crocs just a few years ago. Now, this is the sale price. I refuse to buy a product on "sale" for regular price that just 24 months ago would drop to $15 on a good discount.

Yeah... Go ahead and say "but inflation!" Let that be your reason for overpaying for things instead of doing better.

If you need to run in them, like really haul butt, seems like they would not be ideal? I'm looking at it from a practicality point of view, because I'm the last person that anyone would come for fashion advice.

This is one of the funniest comments I've ever read on SD

Yeah okay we got it. You don't like it then don't buy it. There's no need to impose subjective tastes.

Not sure where you're reading that I'm trying to impose my views on others but ok then.

The ER doctor told us to always wear a closed top sandal. Not necessarily a croc, but you should really be protecting the tops of your feet too.

obviously he's never been to the middle east where everyone wears Sandalim.
anyway, my own use is in and around my home, and i've been doing so safely
for decades. but i agree, as i would never wear them to work, or even shopping.

thanks for the info, I hate flip-flops too, they hurt my knee. I did have crocs before, but got stolen when I was camping in Yosemite NP. was thinking about getting another one after reading your story.

O'l Yogi Bear ๐Ÿป walking around with only 2 Crocs on. ๐Ÿ˜‚ I bet he's got a whole cave full of them; as well as picnic ๐Ÿงบ.

He's probably got a no Crocs rule; like only you can prevent a Croc eyesore. It only takes one Croc, then you got two Crocs. Next thing you know everywhere you look, you got a whole forest of Crocs! Brrrg!

Crocs for kids, I get. Crocs for adults, color me bewildered.
I resisted the hideous things for a few decades until my last Disney trip. After hours of research and purchasing new tennis shoes, flip flops and a loss of a toenail in 2022 I finally gave in and bought the top recommended shoe for Disney: Crocs and socks. My friend and I walked 51k steps over 2 days and I did not have any foot pain or fatigue. As ugly as they are to me....they are a game changer.

I appreciate your input. This is the type of information that I truly appreciate receiving as I want to gain an understanding of the appeal.
