This seems incredibly dumb? Complaints are good, they prevent other people from making the same purchase and coincidentally limit complaints
I bought two similar suits a few years back from Macy's, both had holes in them within 4 wearings. I understand you don't want thread crapping but the $250ish dollars I spent was absolutely not worth it. I bought 2 wool blend suits from express in December for roughly the same price and so far they have held up much better. So I don't have a better alternative at the minute but I think the express suit deal is every year, and I'd wait for that given the option.
Can I complain about inflated BS MSRPs from Macys that try to trick us into thinking these deals are better than they are?

All I hear about such deals is a bunch of people complaining about the "lOW qUaLitY" of such suites, and no man ever shared a good "bang for a buck" suite like ever.
If you are here to complain, DON'T.
Unless you have a better alternative in the same price range.
Couldn't you just move on and stop looking at this thread or not read the comments If that's all you hear about?
I had to dig to find the content of the blend, which is 70% wool. Not too bad for the price. $150 for jacket and pants of this is an OK buy.
I still would recommend saving a few more bucks up and to buy a full wool suit from Tyrwhitt on their big discount sales. I bought a real nice one a few years ago for ~$250.
I bought a polyester suit from a deal posted here a couple of weeks ago for about $30. That's how much a polyester suit on sale should be. If you're paying anywhere close to $100, it better be full wool. Otherwise you're not getting a good deal.
I bought a Michael kors classic fit suit from macys over a month ago for a work event. I'll be honest, it's not bad for a $320 suit. Still better than renting even if you get a couple wears out of it. My only advice is stay away from Nautica suits. They look and feel cheap even with a $200+ sale price tag.
Fat people aren't able to comfortable wear express clothing though sadly. So the majority of the people browsing this website don't truthfully have express as a viable option
I can't say for certain if express will work for but the suits I bought were separates. You buy a jacket at whatever size you need and then the matching pants at your size.

I see they're having a sale right now at Tyrwhitt[charlestyrwhitt.com]... definitely not the same price, but some nice looking suits! And some are pretty discounted!

Absolutely you can complain and I will amplify your complaint. My wife shops there and will discuss some of her buys as "it was 40% off and then with the coupon it was another 50% off". My question always is "so what did you pay and are you happy with that price?"

You get what you pay for so I don't think folks should necessarily be expecting g high quality, however, sharing feedback for others to benefit from is good with me.
We bought this Tommy Hilfiger wool suit in black last year for two of my sons for the other son's wedding. Obviously the original price is inflated but 225 for the jacket and 95 for the pants they were all very happy with the fit and quality. Might not be 100% wool, not sure, but looked really nice. Looked as nice as the 500 one the groom had made at Indochino. I'm sure up close there were small differences but who gets that close.
