Pricing-wise, this is a great deal, but this brand doesn't taste all that good. Milton's is much better (and yes it does cost more).
I'm terribly sorry from the bottom of my heart that you know what that tastes like. I guess you grew up in a farm?
I'm unfamiliar with the "Milton's" brand, but I cook, and I know what good food is supposed to taste like (especially pizza)! You're being too kind! This is the equivalent of cardboard with near tasteless sauce and toppings! I can understand the need for a product such as this for certain sensitive individuals, but, IMO, you're sacrificing too much by eating this! If you're not in this group and like pizza (who doesn't?), then don't waste your money (any amount) on this!

Rice flour is not sugar. Highly processed carbs do raise serum level of glucose and while that is a health concern no one calls flour sugar.
No one? Most people realize flour is mostly carbs and has next to no fiber. Find me one person who disagrees.

I literally did the math for you.

I say as a pizza lover that there are some legitimately good cauliflower crust pizzas, even if this isn't it.
Definitely this.

I agree about the brand Milton which is sold at Costco (I believe on sale for Two for $10.50; more than 36oz package). I just tried it, put on some extra onions, mushrooms, etc... preheated oven to 450 F, straight from frozen package as instructed (do not defrost), and it was the crunchiest crust from edge to center! I thought my tortilla crust pizza (many techniques on Youtube) was crunchy, but Milton cauliflower crust was about 1/4 inch thick and crunchy!

I buy these on sale and basically use them as a starting point. I add my own veggies, spices etc. to add some flavor and fullness.

Just got a couple of these. Ultra thin like razor blade but delicious. One pizza=appetite of one person who just came out of cruise style buffet.
Delicious?? You are most definitely easy to please! Have you ever eaten real pizza? This doesn't even come close! There's no real resemblance (taste wise) to actual pizza! They should change that to "Vegetable. Shaped like a pizza"!

If you can't eat gluten then just don't eat foods that normally have gluten. Why force down fake pizza when there are millions of other good foods to eat that already don't have gluten?
If you can't eat gluten you'll quickly learn that most foods in the American diet contain gluten. While I love bread, it absolutely destroys my body. Like swelling from entrance to exit. Not eating gluten isn't a choice, it's literally my only option for having a full life.

I'd get your statement if it were in terms of meat where it's a moral reason (most of time) guiding people not to eat it. Like yeah, why eat fake meat if you like the flavor just eat the real thing. But the necessity of gluten free foods is to give us an opportunity to eat a more "normal" diet of the foods we otherwise can not eat.

For what it's worth, this pizza isn't my top choice for cauliflower pizza but I'm thrilled with the deal as it's far from the worst gluten free pizza. And it's really nice that this cauliflower is gluten free unlike the sadistic pizza Oprah put out.

edit: just picked up 4 thanks op!

Looks at the nutrition facts of each.

Milton's has 1850 mg of sodium vs the 1080 mg in this pizza. It's also higher in fat and sugar despite being less overall calories.

That sodium increase is nothing to scoff at, that's 80% of your daily sodium intake for less than half the number of calories you need per day so you are definitely making a trade-off for that taste.

At the end of the day you are making a trade-off with the Milton of health for flavor whereas with the caulipower you won't completely destroy your diet by eating one of them (not saying they are healthy, both Pizzas massively lack fiber, macros, and micros needed for a balanced diet but there are levels of unhealthy and the Milton is just a tier above).

Yep, I don't think most people realize that gluten is in a lot of products you wouldn't think it'd be in and they don't consider how hard it is to find grains that aren't cross contaminated at grain-sorting facilities or during shipping.

As a newly diagnosed victim of celiac disease who can't eat anything I used to live on previously, a cows butthole sounds like a real treat, more so than a cauliflower pizza.

I hate my life now.

Send me a PM and I'll be happy to help you find suitable alternatives. I've been doing this a long time and threw out a ton of gluten free but yucky foods... even gotten in some fights with an ex about how I would buy so much I never ate, because turns out things like beans shouldn't be in gluten free foods imo.

Long time Milton GF pizza lovers until we tried Kirkland's brand of GF pizza from Costco. So now our freezer has both.
The Kirkland ones are definitely the best ones out of all these 3 brands of GF pizzas

Substituting flour with cauliflower is typically going to give you the benefit of much lower carb intake. These pizzas have incredibly high carb count. It makes no sense to me to bother.
