Moana Surfrider, A Westin Resort & Spa via Costco Travel have a 4-night stay in a historic Banyan Room, $100 resort credit, a digital Costco Shop card (calculated at the end of checkout) with resort fees & taxes included starting from $819 per person based on a double occupancy. $820 per person? Unless you're simple Jack traveling solo, this will be $1640 for a couple. That's not a slickdeal by any means, lukewarm if any.

Most of the time, it's always added when you get to the hotel. So 1600 for 2 becomes like 1800.

This deal includes resort fees and taxes. It also includes airport transfer (via shared transfer with Aloha VIP Tours). I personally don't want a shared airport transfer.

4 days in June comes out to $1,959.56, which includes $100 resort credit, and $126 digital Costco card.
That's a net cost of ~$1,735 = $435/night.

These same nights are bookable via Marriot directly for $1,845 (not including airport transportation).

How is this remotely a good deal? I'm so confused how close to $1800 net of credits is not a deal for this outdated hotel. It's in a great spot but it's not worth $400+ a night.

Just got back from Maui and stayed at a Westin resort there but wife and I used Marriott points for 6 nights. Out of pocket I believe it was about $650/nt pp plus resort fee, $45/nt parking fee, taxes, etc. Everything there is expensive ... but it is hard to beat Hawaii! Stayed with the family in 2009 at the Outrigger Waikiki for $99/nt...those days are long gone!

Costco GCs, you still get cashback on top of all this.

There are plenty of places in Hawaii via Costco Travel around this price so it might be smart to look around the site a little bit

Horrible deal. I recently stayed here a few months ago, and for 6 nights, it was around $1,600 with taxes and resort fee through Priceline. And that was for a room with two beds (non ocean view). Highly recommended, but not for this price.
