How do I get notification of mentions?

I haven't looked in the last few months, but for nearly two decades I have looked for a way to get email notifications of when I am quoted in a reply.

If it is there, it is very very well hidden. Or it was only added very recently.

If it is not there, it is totally unacceptable in 2024. Heck, it was only borderline acceptable when I joined in 2006.

I know I can turn on notifications for replies to a thread, but that is something totally different.

Is it possible on the website? (NOT in the app.)

unfortunately that feature is not available at this time. i'm not sure what the devs may have in the pipeline but the suggestion is appreciated Thanks
