For me, the best shoes for the gym have a wide base and lots of breathable fabric. I don't think these shoes have either. I find Adidas to be the best, because they have wide soles which I feel gives me more stability doing heavy weights like squat, standing press, etc.
Women's sizing is 1.5 sizes larger than men. Example: 8 men's equals 9.5 women's
