If that anechoic plot is accurate, this just closed the door on the entire budget subwoofer market. 94db at 20 Hz with good fidelity? That's ridiculous for $300. Looks like the 10S less the speaker outputs and 100W of amp. Very similar driver, same enclosure. For comparison, Monoprice SW-15 is the same price and 70db at that frequency. Klipsch R-121S is 93db and rarely drops below $400. I already bought the ridiculous $700 RP-1400SW, but two of these would have been a better balance for music and nearly as good for HT.
RSL has great products for the price. I have a 5.4.2 RSL setup in the living room… But this is not a slick deal.
This was reviewed by Nemo Propaganda. This sub is lights out on the competition in the budget space. RSL always delivers.

Now THIS is sub worth buying, not some dainty little fartbox made by a big name speaker company that costs 3-5 times as much and can't even keep up with it, which the average clueless Joe Shmo walking into the jaws of Best Buy will end up getting based on nothing but a pretty cabinet and brand name recognition, aided by some sleazy salesperson egging them on to have a "matching" system...ROTFL

How does it compare to the 10S MKII for $150 more?

Do not own this but own the Speedwoofer 10S MKII. I keep wanting to buy this to listen to their budget subwoofer because the 10S continues to blow me away.

I don't know much about audio. My home theatre in the family room has two Klipsch 12SW's. I need one or two subs for a basement setup as well. Would these be better than the Klipsch's as far as stronger/harder hitting base? I guess these are too new for reviews at this point. Thanks.

Read that first comment, it will explain to you why we expect great things from a 300 dollar sub, no tax and free shipping. I just ordered one and it would have been two but they would kick me out of my condo.
