New models are coming out soon. Sort of want to compare the new to the current models.

I have two of these, they flippin' bang. I got them around this price on Woot, given how old they are idk if I'd spend more than $800 after tax to be honest. Have to be plugged in, tiny little wheels, goofy stereo connection process via bluetooth, and the "graphics" are dated. That said, they are LOUD, like hurt you loud.

Edit: also everyone and their mother will freestyle on the drum pads any chance they get, which will sound terrible

They're completely different product groups with a confusing amount of overlap.

If you just want to play music for a party, the biggest problem is PA speakers like that won't have much bass at all, they're meant to be paired with subs when bass is involved.

Partyboxes are an all-in-one solution good enough for most backyard use.
