Is QSLAM the new LIDAR? I'm not familiar. But I know (for me personally) these vacuums are useless without LIDAR or some kind of mapping
QSLAM is the navigation technique. According to the description, this is LIDAR hardware:

An expert navigator, Dustin uses LiDar and his unparalleled QSLAM with Realtime computing. No need to "train your dragon"-Dustin identifies rooms at first glance, and doesn't waste your time with exploration sessions.
I bought this on the Sam's Club a month or two ago. I returned it. Rarely emptied itself properly. Would miss everything around any edges, whether furniture or cabinets.
Honestly, its not a $600 botvac, it wasn't even worth me keeping @199. My previous Neato D# was a far better unit.
For $199 I would go with a more reputable vacuum brand. These vacuums are highly software dependent and if b0bsweep goes out of business or ownership changes hands you can't be sure that the vacuum will continue being supported.

Last time I got a no name vac from slick deals I think it was for $20 on Amazon and actually had LiDAR. It was amazing and lasted years

Normally I will agree, nothing was under 800 two years ago self empty
I also bought from Sam's and yes it does self empty. Best vacuum I've had. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Currently $700 at sams
