    Maybe because parents feed their kids too many sweets/candy/sodas? I would not scientifically tie all obesity to HFCS. Again, the key is moderation. HFCS is not a "killer". Too much of it in an unhealthy lifestyle leads to medical problems that can shorten your life. But then again, too much anything can do the same thing.

    there are also plenty of ketchups that are made with cane sugar if you want something that actually tastes good
