After adding Delta Skymiles as the preferred partner, does that mean any Hilton stay points will be routed to Delta instead of staying as HHonor points? Or do you keep the HHonor points as well as earning Delta Skymiles?

Great, in addition to near worthless hotel points, they'll give you near worthless airline miles!

(Frankly, you should be aware that although the nominal values of Delta and Hilton points/miles are low, they have their uses. Just know that other points are nominally more valuable, like AA or Hyatt.)

Not worthless if you use the points on their hotel rooms. I've been a Diamond member since 2016. Each time I stay, combined with promotions, I clear between 6-10K bonus points alone, not counting whatever I get with my AmEx card.
