ebags (through Amazon [amazon.com]) has the Mother Lode 25 Inches Checked Rolling Duffel for $57.60 (after 20% off coupon) with Free Shipping. Not sure if the coupon is available to everyone, but even at the currently listed price of $72 this is a good deal IMO.

Edit: cancelled my order unfortunately. There's no handle to lift it other than the one on the front making carrying or hoisting difficult, and the space is tight as the bag is curved. Too bad. Thing seems built like a tank but it won't hold much more than my carryon based off reviews, not much point.

Bought an old ebags luggage like off ebags website many years ago. It is very big... but I don't recall the dimensions. I got to assume it is 28' or 29' at the most right if you can use it for checked luggage?

This one that is 25' is for carry on luggage right?

How are ebags luggage now compared to many years ago?

Carry on can't be longer than 22" including wheels. This is the smaller checked bag. Ebags is still pretty great quality but I wouldn't buy unless on sale. But at sale price I've never been disappointed.

I bought the eBags Mother Lode Rolling Backpack and traveled across Europe, and another eBags Mother Lode backpack on a cruise. They're great bags.

With that being said, I would not buy this. There's no real benefit in checking in lighter soft bags like this. These will get thrown around by baggage handlers and you'd either want a thicker rollaboard or hard shell bag. These don't have built in TSA locks either.

The only situation I'd probably use this is flying ULCC whose weight limit is 40lbs instead of the typical 50lbs. Smaller and lighter bag allows you to pack more heavier items.

It says the deal is expired, but this is actually still active as of 4/26/24. Also, eBags website has the larger 29" on sale for $75. No 20% off coupon like this deal though.
