cushions are 1.8 density which is pretty standard. 2.2 is the good, long lasting stuff. Price is alright but I'm passing on anything without 2.2 foam so I don't need to buy another in 5 more years.

I've had a Radley for about 3.5 years now. It's in our bonus room so it's not our primary couch, but still gets used quite a bit. I'll say that it's not the softest couch nor the firmest I've ever sat on, but I've fallen asleep on it enough times to say that it's the perfect meet in the middle. It has held up well to wear and tear (3.5 year old and almost 2 year old are also in the house).
We've enjoyed it enough that we're considering another one for our living room, if that tells you anything.
I've been checking out the Michola, but can't find a ton of reviews. Went to the store & sat on it, was very comfortable, though yeah that foam density isn't the highest. https://www.macys.com/shop/produc...D=15389655

Where do you get these numbers?
Product details says it's 1.8. Wanting 2.2 just came from a lot of googling recently as I'm in the market for a new sofa. Here's one link off google: https://www.simplicitysofas.com/q...ions-foam2

Yeah it's really a tough thing to shop for, 2.2 will prob hold up better long-term but not sure how much real world difference that'll make.
We have had our Radley sectional for a few years now in our primary living room and with two young kids they've held up extremely well. No odd smell when we got them so that review may have had bad luck receiving the item that was stored in a questionable location perhaps. My only complaint are the back cushions are too soft. The seat cushions are firm.
Does anyone have this sofa? Is it comfortable? Durable? Reviews saw it has a chemical smell seems odd.
I bought this sectional 10 months ago. It is comfortable and looks great. As for the price, this is the normal price for this product. The maximum price it typically reaches is $2,400. It has never been priced as high as $4,000.
We got the radley in February 2020 so we got a lot more use out of it than expected real quick. There was a brief new couch smell but it was gone in a few days, same thing you'd get with a mattress, nothing noxious. I've sat in the same spot for four years and there is a bit of a dip happening in the cushion but absolutely no other issues or complaints. I'd buy it again.
