Can someone explain to me step by step how this works?
Is there a certain timeframe the phone gets unlocked?
Will this work if you already have Verizon currently?
Come to think of it, my iphone 6 was also bent by the time I stopped using it. so I get a lot of these common iphone issues as well. The 12 is probably one to avoid then.
My iphone SE also has a minor issue where the screen brightness goes to 0 whenever I use my Sheetz App on the pump. Makes no sense, and it only happens there after filling gas. Otherwise I've been satisfied with every iphone I've ever had.
I've still got a couple of years to go before I replace my phone, so I will pass.
It's funny I guess the only times Wal Mart ever has a Verizon postpaid deal is in March/April and for Black Friday. I might get one next year then.

Everything you need to know is already on the first thread, it was self explanatory. You order the phone from walmart.com, it has a payment plan of $2.75 a month, which you can pay off early if you want to. This works for new or existing Verizon customers. That's $99 a month, but they'll probably also charge you sales tax on the full amount, and an activation fee of $35 at the same you purchase.
I dunno about unlocking for carrier, because it's not a prepaid. It's probably unlocked from the beginning, but if you close your account within 2 years, you probably have to pay retail.
And you're probably aware that going from an XS Max to an Iphone 12 is going to give you a significantly smaller phone, and you're okay with that.
XS Max is 6.5 inches. Iphone 12 is 6.1 inch. It sounds like little cuz it's less than half an inch, but diagonally it'll be noticeable.
This deal is basically a retention deal. Carriers used to give you the newest phone for free or heavily discounted to get you to sign a new 2 year contract with them. They went away from that, then came back.
This phone probably retails for $400 now because it's 3 years old, and Apple only guarantees support for 5-6 years, but they just stopped with the iphone 7 like 2 years ago. So you get the phone for $99, plus an activation fee, and they get you to renew your contract for another 2 years. And you probably can't use another deal like this on that line for at least a year.
Now just need to unload 3 metro iphone 11 i picked up awhile back. Should be a zero dollar or nominal upgrade.
I do like the screen a lot better on the 12 than the 11

Also, forgot to mention the terrible CS that Metro/T-Mo have. Their CS are from the Philippines...People like me value their time and don't want to keep repeating things over and over and get transferred to the wrong department.
