Hate to be that guy….buuut I bought some tumblers from Walmart for $8. They work just as well and my yeti lids fit on them. Hard to go back to yeti after this experiment.

This article says it's dishwasher safe on top rack. Also, they tested the Ozarks from Walmart and determined it does perform the same as Yeti. I have the Ozark one and love it.

I've put my Yetis in the dishwasher hundreds of times and not seen any issues or performance changes. And the warranty does cover seal failure. I guess that's where the extra money goes.

Water? Bacteria builds up on the mouthpiece so you should definitely be washing it even if water is the only thing you put in it.

The Yeti rambler Jr ones are great for kids, we have both sizes of them and my kids use them for everything and they hold up so well

I wish you could see the inside of a municipal water line. Lots of slime on the inside, but safe due to the chlorination that makes it inhospitable. Same thing with buildup on the mouthpiece. It would be pretty gross to leave it if you see some, but it's not likely at all to be harmful.

Yes! I put our yetis in the dishwasher also. Just put lids in the utensil slot or they can fall through and hit the heating element and melt.

I had yeti 6-7 years ago. Lost it, since then i tried several other brand. Have to admit, yeti was out perform all other one i tried. Seen op post remind me of yeti. Just ordered 1. I have too many at home, last year moving i throw away like 10 of them, only keep a few. Most of them price range wasnt too far from yeti. It worth the extra guys. Speaking from my owned experienced. Thanks op!

I want to say it was this forum that turned me on to the Magslide lid. It is the real deal. Sure the walmart and RTIC cups are the same, but has anyone knocked off the magslide lid yet? (Can't go back now.)

I was about to pull the trigger just because of the magslide. But must... resist... slickdeal effect...

Just received my shipment of three yeti products from this deal and I gotta say. They must have Neanderthals working in the shipping department. They stuffers three yeti tumblers inside a plastic mailer with no packing and they came dented and scuffed. And blue paint rubbed all over the stainless steel. Why couldn't they ship this inside a box with some bubble wrap?

All the downvotes you're getting from simply stating facts is ridiculous, if someone wants to pay $40 for a tumbler that performs almost identical to a $10 no one's stopping them but I guess they're emotionally hurt about this new discovery.

Bought this deal and the yeti waterbottle arrived dinged and scratched up - on the handle and body. It was shipped without a box and when I reached out to customer service their reply was because it was on clearance. Nowhere does it say on the description that the clearance items come with cosmetic damage. They customer rep asked if I wanted a return or gift card - also came off very rude about it as well. Don't recommend buying from PC Richard.
