I have the 13700HX version directly from Lenovo for $1,399+tax and love it.

It's heavy and thick and battery at new is like 1 hour but it's very powerful.

Small issue: I installed Windows 11 Pro on day 1 so I don't know if I caused any issues but I updated bios and updated drivers and I still have small issue with two 4K external monitors, it blinks into black every 10 minutes using a $189 Kingston USBC dock to two DVI.

Why are you using DVI? Single DVI can do 1920x1080. Dual-link DVI can only display up to 2560x1600 or 4k 30hz from some quick reading (read some issues with that).

If you pulled your head out of your butt you wouldn't need such a bright screen.

I have the 13900HX version of this laptop with slightly better screen. Bought used (three months old) from BH for $1200. Motherboard died after a month after the return window and it took about 2.5 weeks to replace. Otherwise a good laptop.

Also have the same "blinks into black" issue but around once a day so does not bother me. Connected to CRG9 monitor using HDMI.

Does the max TGP from the gpu decrease the life of the laptop no matter how good the cooling system is? Or do i have to control how MUCH gaming I would do in it vs a desktop?

My son has a 3060 mobile with same wattage that he's been gaming on for 2yrs with no issues. Only thing I did was elevate it with a riser for better ventilation.

Got the slim 14 at BB but I think this may be better...might return. Any one else choose this one over the slim 14?

I'm trying to decide between the two myself.
