You should be able to combine the discounts by adding items as one-time purchase & then selecting S&S in cart before checking out.

I have all "sold by amazon" items in my cart, I am eligible for the offer, my total is over $75, but it still will not deduct the 10 bucks despite changing the payment method indicating to use my points. I rarely get the Discover offers, so this is sort of making me nuts.

Because not all "sold by Amazon" items qualify. It's quite arduous but you have to find the mention of the $10 off $75 offer on the item page.

I hope that works for you. I'm nervous to try it. Several months ago I read on Reddit that they no longer accept Google gift cards to pay for YouTube TV.

Initially it said I was not eligible because I did not have the Discover card in my account. Added my Discover CC, enrolled it and three days later got the 10 off 75 offer. Better than nothing I guess.
