For comparison, 17g of a Snickers bar has 10g carb, 9 sugar.
"Fruit" can be a bit misleading, this is candy (bar.) I bet these are tasty though and way better than a fruit roll up lol

Of course I'm only looking at this as a snack and not a food substitute. But could be worth noting that not all sugars are the same and fruit sugars are processed differently by the body. Any vitamins and minerals from fruits (although it'll probably be minuscule) are generally better for you than synthetic ones as well (I believe because synthetics are different on a molecular level).
My 3 kids love them. But then my kids love fruit in general

They're tasty, but yeah all they are is a thick fruit roll up.

There are 5 grams of added sugar in each of these fruit sticks, or 27% by weight. The other remaining sugars would be naturally occurring in the fruit used to make the bar.
A regular snickers bar actually has 32 grams of carbs. 28 grams of sugar -- 26 grams of which are added sugars. Given a regular Snickers is 52 grams in weight-- this means half of a snickers is added sugar by weight. Or just about double the added sugar content when compared gram per gram.
Calling it a Snickers is a disservice. Calling it a Snickers Lite would be more appropriate.
I'm also not trying to advocate that eating one or two of these should replace actual fruit. With the whole fruit you get the fiber, and a much much lower sugar content, even with double, triple or quadruple the serving size (in grams) of the actual fruit. For example: 110 grams or so of applesauce is only going to be 50 cals, and 13 carbs-- 11 of which are naturally occuring sugars. But packing these little wrapped bars on a road trip, going to the movies, school lunches or any outing with a toddler-10 yr old is much easier and very often less messy.

Are all "sugar" the same?
