I was about to say if you install Debian or Ubuntu or Arch, then I might forgive you. But Windows? Seriously?
Bottomline, just use it as is, don't mess around with the OS.

the CPU is strong enough, so why not. my personal reason is that i love my mail program (mailbird) which is x86 / OSX only along with some of my other apps

IdeaPad Gaming Chromebook 16 Jun 2032
PROS:
* Display is super nice, bright, feels very sharp, viewing angles are great.
* It's fast - i3 and 8gb do the job nice, very responsive.
* Back-lit keyboard is nice, can change colors in 4 zones, gimmicky.
CONS:
* Keyboard feels crappy - keys are randomly sized and most are slightly smaller than a normal keyboard (to accommodate the 10key of tiny keys which is unusable to me). Coming from MacBook pro 14 and a mechanical keyboard on desktop, it's not my cup of tea.
* Speakers are weak. even at 100% they feel tiny and hollow and even if I can hear, keep wanting to raise it further but can't. I was planning on using this for video calls, so that's a miss. I was hoping top facing speakers will deliver, but no. Watching YouTube is ok, in a quiet room.
