Is it possible to filter out refurbished deals?

I'm able to filter using deal types and tags but is there a way to also filter out deals where the poster only put "refurb" on the title of deals like this one?

if you're talking about the forum filtering system described here unfortunately no, as there is no way to add keywords to the filter. it's not going to help with threads like that one where it's not included but just in case you were not aware (although it sounds like you are) we do have a tag for refurbished items (under "deal type") that will at least pick up some of them. the qa team works hard to get threads tagged properly for stuff like that but the sheer volume of threads posted means they will never get to everything.

edit: i went ahead and added the tag for that one. feel free to mod alert thread(s) for consideration and we may be able to tag them.

you're welcome. i spoke to someone on the qa team who mentioned that that "refurbished tag" is relatively new so in theory you should be seeing it in use more and more, which should help with the filtering results. happy slickdealing! Peace
