I couldn't agree more with this. We always buy our Q-tips from Costco and I instantly noticed the poor quality on our most recent batch. My wife also noticed it and we're always complaining about how flimsy the shaft is now. I recently found some of the older style in a guest bathroom of ours and the difference is night and day.

You can't compare Equate to Q-Tip just saying. They work ok but are def not q tip quality

qtips quality went down a lot in the past year. It's flimsy and cotton is way thinner.

I haven't had issues with the Walmart ones personally... I have had some of the qtip brand where there was no cotton on the end

One thing I've learned over the years is do not skimp on qtips. I am perfectly fine with buying store brand items for many things. But not for these.
