Here is a working signup page for Pinecone Research for those interested. I saw a recent post where enrollment closed down pretty quickly so I thought I'd share.

Sometimes, i just grab the prepaid creditcard and other times i do the direct pay into my checking account depending upon acct balance.
check out the prepaid credit card payable sent to your registered email address. then reload your amazon giftcard account balance with it.

i went to my amazon account and went to my gift card section and chose "reload" amazon account.
i choose to reload $12 to my amazon account, went to my payment section and "added" a new form of payment, credit card,debit,etc
it opens a page where you insert your name, virtual visa account number, expire date and as a new form of payment. (ensured my name and mailing address of the virtual debit visa card matches my address and applied payment when virtual debit visa card was created.
it goes into processing in the amazon order section at top tab of orders and moments later changed to applied.
then i went to my gift card section account balance and the 12 bucks has been applied to my amazon gift card balance.
Not sure why your virtual visa debit card did not work for you to reload your amazon account money balance, if you did what i just wrote.
Otherwise, you can use that virtual visa debit card at other places like your Comcast pay bill section and other places.
